WBS & partners is a leading organisational and people development organisation that works with employers and employees to enhance the effectiveness and quality of their business and services.
We aim to improve the skills of employees by supporting the change in their attitudes and behaviours at work. We champion the concept that people can effect real and lasting change throughout their working life through learning and personal development.
As a result of using our services employees are;
- better motivated, more self-aware and confident;
- able to have more positive involvement with their employer;
- willing to contribute to their workplace, their community and to the Scottish economy.
Because of our extensive experience in knowledge transfer, leading to better organisational performance, we will seek to influence the Scottish strategy agenda in the areas of lifelong learning, employability, regeneration and social enterprise.
Harry Donaldson, Regional Secretary of GMB Scotland is our Chairperson. Many other partner organisations, including TUC Scotland, T&GWU and independent business, are represented on our Board of Directors
Our current areas of work are;
- facilitating effective partnership working in the workplace, across businesses, communities and sectors
